My Perfect Gift is a documentary project that spotlights the extraordinary mothers who have dedicated themselves to the care of their children, who are affected by cerebral palsy.
This documentary aims to capture the diverse ways cerebral palsy affects families, recognizing that each parent's journey is unique. This documentary illuminates the daily challenges that these mothers face, and the transformative influence they have on their children's lives.
It tells the story of a young man, Eku who risks losing his girlfriend Kia, due to and unresolved trauma that he is unwilling to share. His attempts to hide these overwhelming emotions that he suddenly experiences, when he is triggered fail miserably, and put him in an awkward situation that exposes his deepest secret. His name is Eku is a story about male
trauma.

Past Projects
15 Years Later is a 2022 short narrative directed by Thitu Muiruri. The film tells the story of Zawadi, a young woman in her 20s who’s migrates into the United States to live with her mother. we see how years of separation and distance resulting from migration, affects family relationships. We see how both characters attempt to face their deep emotional pain and come to terms with an unpleasant mismatch between the reality on the ground and their perceptions towards one another.
